By Bret Dorman and Kate Peterson
This week, Kate and Bret discuss villain origins, finding tone, and interesting action scenes all via The Amazing Spider-Man 2. After an unnecessary-necessary reboot of the Spider-Man film franchise, it seems the filmmakers behind this movie still don’t quite know what they want. How will this movie affect a Sinister Six movie and how does Venom factor in? We don’t know. All we know is that Peter Parker is one cool mo-fo who doesn’t do anything Peter Parker is really known for and that Spider-Man has no friends. Do these things matter if the movie is good? Or is this movie even good at all? We discuss as many aspects as we can while trying to remain as optimistic as possible. Thanks for listening!

Here we get a backstory on Buddy “Aces” Israel without having to go through all the dramatic steps. Just a quick play by play. Plus, seeing how the other characters describe each other adds a reputation element that when pieces start to collide, makes everything cooler. Here’s the scene:
Next Episode will most likely be Godzilla!
